The video above has numerous fighters predicting the outcome of at least for me, one of the most intriguing fights ever in the UFC. I’ve been a great fan of Belforts and have seen Silva train several times and have seen most of his fights live since he came into the UFC.
Vitor’s hands are super fast, and while Silva is great at standup too, I think Belfort will take this early. Unlike previous years, I’m not doing too well on my predictions at 9-5, compared to 2010 where I was
43-9, and in 2009 when I was a whopping 54-6. Thank goodness I live in Vegas!!
My UFC 126 fight predictions will come later this week! Place your bets!
FTVMODELLING.COM IS A SCAM
To read more about this, you can go to my personal blog and read about it by clicking here. You can also view it on Patrick Yuen’s blog by clicking here. You can also read the first email I received from a photographer still listed on ftvmodelling.com’s website about the issue a model he worked with ran with Jason Earle, supposedly owner of this amazing modelng agency by clicking here. More updates to come.

What is this doing on a web site that is suppose to focus on MMA and MMA related stories. Well as many of you know, I work extensively with Arianny Celeste, current UFC Ring Girl and Playboy Model. If you don’t know that, she actually gave me one of my dogs, who’s name is Jovi (named after Bon Jovi). I figured I’d stick this on the site since I’m the Editor of the Magazine and can do that if I wish, and I’m also in discussion with the publisher about writing an one-time article about the fake modeling agency web site.
First off, modeling on the domain name is spelled with two L’s, so it’s FTVModeLLing.com. Supposedly, the company is based out of Australia. I did a DNS whois search on it, and pulled the information all the way @ the bottom of this article. The site is also listed on xbuild.com, which is the platform we had AftermathMMA on for about 2 years and for which I’m a consultant. They actually used a platform I help develop to create their web site. To view the web site, go to FTVModelling.com. In a few days, I’ll be creating an identical website called something ike FTVModellingIsAScam.com on the same platform, using the exact images they use.
You would think a real agency would be listed more on search engines then just their one site, that they would have models who list them as an agency they work with. Consider this, type in any model’s name, we’ll use Arianny for example. Type in Arianny Celeste on any search engine, and you’ll come up with her web site, her photo sessions with Maxim, Playboy, Status Magazine, etc. You’ll come up with videos of her on YouTube, on MMAFix, etc.
Here’s a better example, type in Red Agency Las Vegas, a small modeling agency located in Las Vegas Nevada. It will come up with pages and pages of information regarding the agency and the events they’ve worked.
One more example. Type in my name Michael M Perez. Same thing, videos, links, other sites listing me, my business address and contact information.
But type in FTVModelling.com or FTV Modelling, and you know what you come up with, just their site, and some facebook links and myspace links. They didn’t even bother to use the metatag/metaname option available to them on xbuild.com, LOL!
Sorry I’m sure I’m going way above some of your heads, it’s the web developer in me. In any case, to read more about this scam, you can go to my personal blog and read about it by clicking here.
Make sure you take time to read it. There are a lot of scams on the internet in regards to models. This one only bothers me because of what Jay York and Jason Earle left on facebook/on voicemail of a model I work with. If it was just calling me a pimp, I would’ve been honored to be called that. Ha!

One of the major discussion points attached to Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza’s August win over Tim Kennedy was the Brazilian’s willingness to strike rather than rely solely on his submission savvy. With ten of his thirteen total wins coming by way of tap-out, Souza still stood with Kennedy for a good portion of the bout and showed remarkable improvement, even winning enough exchanges to eventually emerge Strikeforce’s 185-pound champion.
However, if fans were wondering whether Souza will employ the same strategy tonight against knockout artist Robbie Lawler, the middleweight title-holder himself is quick to dismiss the notion as was the case in a recent conference call with media.
“Some were surprised that I stood last time but Lawler is a different kind of fighter than I had in my last one. If I have to stand, I will of course, but I know it is important that I keep control,” Souza explained. “This is going to be a tough fight, and a very dangerous one. Lawler is very heavy-handed and I know to win I am going to have to play my game, which is to take him down and try and finish the fight.”
Fifteen of “Ruthless” Robbie’s eighteen total wins have been the result of his hard-hitting ways including a fifty-second flattening of Matt Lindland in December his last time out. He also holds knockout victories over Melvin Manhoef, Murilo “Ninja” Rua, and Joey Villasenor.
Then again, simply because Souza is interested in avoiding the Midwesterner’s sleep-inducing stand-up doesn’t mean he isn’t also aware of the danger he poses to Lawler on the ground. Four of Lawler’s six losses have been by way of submission.
“I don’t feel either of us think that we can afford to make a mistake,” the 31-year old BJJ expert concluded on the matter.
Souza’s title-defense will precede another championship clash between welterweights Nick Diaz and Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos on tonight’s 10:00 EST Showtime broadcast with Herschel Walker and Roger Gracie also set for action in earlier bouts. The preliminary portion of the card can be caught via free stream on Sherdog starting at approximately 8:15 EST
